There is no fixed standard for the lead time of custom engraving and processing of 3K carbon fiber sheet model parts. It is affected by factors such as order quantity, process difficulty, and manufacturer’s production capacity, ranging from 24 hours for rush orders to 30 days for regular orders. Specific scenarios are divided as follows:
For small-batch parts with simple structures that do not require complex programming, some manufacturers can arrange shipment within 2 days after payment is received. Some enterprises even offer coordination for ultra-rush orders and can fulfill delivery within 24 hours. For example, this fast delivery can be achieved for some standardized small aircraft model parts that only require simple CNC cutting.
This is the most common scenario in the market. If the parts need regular CNC engraving or simple laser engraving with a small order quantity, the lead time is mostly 3–15 days. For instance, some manufacturers in Dezhou, Shandong, indicate that shipment can be made as early as 7 days after payment. Other manufacturers specify an 8–15 day processing cycle for regular machining orders, while some suppliers in Weihai clearly guarantee shipment within 15 days.
If the model parts have complex patterns and extremely high precision requirements, or if the order quantity is large, the process may also involve pre-production steps such as mold opening, which will significantly extend the lead time. For example, mold opening for regular molds takes 10 days at some manufacturers, and mass production will be carried out gradually according to production capacity after sample confirmation. In addition, some manufacturers specify a 30-day shipment period starting from the date of buyer’s payment for custom products, which is mostly applicable to customization needs with complex processes or large order volumes.
