Epoxy resin rods are mainly made of cured epoxy resin with little or no glass fiber.
They have excellent insulation, smooth surface and good machinability, but are relatively brittle with average strength.
They are commonly used for low-voltage insulation, small parts, molds and handles.
Fiberglass rods are reinforced with glass fiber and impregnated with resin.
They feature high strength, good toughness, bending resistance and impact resistance.
Their insulation performance is good, but slightly lower than pure epoxy rods.
They are widely used for structural parts, insulation pull rods and support components.
Epoxy Fiberglass Rod (Our Main Product)
Combines the advantages of both materials:
- Excellent insulation from epoxy resin
- High strength and toughness from glass fiber
- Good high-temperature resistance and corrosion resistance
It is the most widely used profile in power, electrical and high-voltage insulation applications.
